Following the 2-1 victory against Penrith AFC, Bradford (Park Avenue) winger Jason St Juste spoke to the official website.
The midfielder was introduced as a second half substitute, and St Juste was pleased with the win:
“They (Penrith AFC) had hope. We tried to break them down, but they got one and it was good spirit from our team. We knew we had to push on and to try and get two goals. We left it late but we are through into the next round.”
Since arriving at the Horsfall Stadium, St Juste has been struggling to break into the starting eleven, but the midfielder is hoping to impress John Deacey:
“That’s football. One minute you’re playing, one minute your not. Obviously you have to try and keep focussed, I keep focussed and when I get on that’s my chance to work hard for the team and myself.”
With the Avenue awaiting their next opponents, St Juste is hoping to progress further in the FA Cup with Budweiser:
“We have a good squad here and we could get through the rounds, but we will see what happens.”
