Bradford (Park Avenue) would like to confirm that Jonny Smith has become the club’s sport therapist.
Kay Morgan, who was with the Avenue for the 2013/14 season has left the club, allowing Smith the opportunity to step up into the role.
Recently, the 22 year old obtained a Bsc (Hons) in Sports Therapy at the University of Central Lancashire. During his time at UCLAN, Smith gained experience at Preston North End, working with their Academy U18s team.
Shortly after graduating, Smith assisted previous sports therapist Faye Stones at Bradford (Park Avenue) before moving to Burnley FC where he was part of their backroom staff during their promotion season to the Barclays Premier League.
Now, Smith has decided to return to the Horsfall Stadium and is pleased to become the club’s sports therapist:
“I’ve worked with the club before, but I’m really looking forward to working with the squad for the season ahead.”
The club would like to thank Kay for her work with the club during the 2013/14 season and wish her all the success in her career.
