Radcliffe: I Want To Play

During the week, Bradford (Park Avenue) confirmed the loan signing of Craig Radcliffe from Harrogate Town.

Radcliffe, 26, was a regular player during the 2011-12 season for Simon Weaver’s men, but, has only played 45 minutes this season.

The new addition to John Deacey’s men said:

‘I am looking forward to playing for Bradford (Park Avenue). I am here for three months, and I can’t wait to get started. Last season, I won the Managers’ and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards for Harrogate Town. However, I spoke to the manager and he knows what I’m capable of, but, I want to play!’

The left footed player featured for the Avenue in their 3-1 victory at Curzon Ashton in the FA Cup with Budweiser, and was pleased to return:

‘It was great to be back and play 90 minutes. I just want to play, and that’s what I enjoy doing. I’m excited for the next three months, there is a group of players here, who are capable of competing in the top half. Also, the club have has a great manager and staff. Some might think, because I haven’t played for four weeks, I might not be fit. But, I look after myself outside of football, I am not the type of person to be sat down.’
