O'Brien: It's Frustrating

Bradford (Park Avenue) captain Rob O’Brien spoke to the club’s official website following the defeat to Brackley Town.

The midfielder admitted that, despite the result, his side are continuing to work hard to get a positive result:

‘It’s getting frustrating now, conceding from set pieces. As a team we are working hard, we have played good teams, but, we need to concentrate more at set pieces. Generally, I think the defence have done well, and as an attacking force we need to score more goals.’

Also, O’Brien is hopeful for several of the injured players to return to action next weekend:

‘Hopefully we can get some players back. We have got influential players out of the team at the minute. The lads who have come in, have done a job, we are a strong squad.’

Ahead of their next game at Altrincham, the Avenue captain remains confident, despite suffering a second consecutive defeat:

‘Altrincham will be a strong outfit. They have Reevesy (Damien Reeves) who used to be here and he is a force. We will approach it right and not fear anyone. We need to cut out the silly mistakes and get some more points on the board, but, it’s frustrating.’
