Bradford (Park Avenue) are delighted to announce Paddy Miller has joined the club from Farsley AFC.
The 24 year old has signed a one-year deal and is the second new arrival at the Horsfall Stadium, following in the footsteps of striker Bradley Barraclough.
Last season, Miller made 47 appearances and scored 2 goals, playing in the centre of the defence for Farsley AFC. Previously, Miller has featured for Scarborough Athletic, Ossett Town and Yorkshire Amateur.
On his move, the new recruit spoke exclusively to the club’s official website:
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of stepping up to this level with Bradford (Park Avenue). I’m 24 and I feel I’m at the right age to make the move up to this league.
After speaking with the manager, I’m excited by his philosophy of playing football because it’s enjoyable and it’s what I’ve been used to at previous clubs.
I’ve come here to be successful, both individually and as a team. The club is established after spending two years in this league, but I’m ambitious, I’ve not joined to finish mid-table. I’m sure we’ll have targets and hopefully we can push to get into the playoffs.”
Bradford (Park Avenue) manager John Deacey admitted he’s pleased to sign Miller: “It’s a good signing for the club. Paddy has plenty of potential and he wants to play at the highest level he can. He has a great attitude for the game and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
To watch Paddy in Avenue colours next season, don’t forget season tickets are on sale, and the Early Bird deadline is Saturday 21 June. If you’re under 16 or a student (on production of valid ID), you can get a season ticket for FREE.
