Match Preview: Kidderminster Harriers

Bradford (Park Avenue) welcome Kidderminster Harriers to the Horsfall Stadium this Saturday for the third meeting of the season between the two sides.

John Deacey’s men lost to the Harriers in extra time of a thrilling FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Round replay at the Aggborough Stadium in October.

However, the Avenue were paired with The Skrill Premier outfit in the FA Carlsberg Trophy First Round, after defeating Harrogate Town in a replay; 4-0.

The Avenue assistant manager, Mark Hume, understands the difficulty of the tie, but he takes confidence from his side’s performances in their previous meetings:

“They’ve had a look at us now so they might have a different game plan. At the end of the day we did well against them last time, I think it will be a good game and we have nothing to worry about.”

Also, the Avenue right back Chris Howarth explained his excitement leading into the game:

“We have to take a good mind set into the game on Saturday. I’m really looking forward it.”
