Match Preview: Hinckley United

Following three consecutive victories, Bradford (Park Avenue) travel to face Hinckley United at the Greene King Stadium on Saturday (Kick off: 3.00pm)

The home side will be looking to end their losing run of six games. In February, the Knitters managed to draw against Bishop’s Stortford and Workington AFC in successive matches. However, since then, the hosts have scored six goals and conceded 22 including a 7-0 defeat to FC Halifax Town. Nonetheless, manager Carl Heggs will be hoping for a better result against the Avenue to the defeat they suffered at the Horsfall Stadium. Earlier in the season, the home side fell to a 4-0 loss, conceding a goal in the opening minute of the game.

Nonetheless, the Avenue jump on the team coach unbeaten in eight league fixtures. Most recently, Bradford have managed to pick up nine points from a possible nine available with victories against Boston United, FC Halifax Town and Harrogate Town. Also, the Avenue have defeated teams such as Workington AFC and Solihull Moors, and their last defeat was a narrow 1-0 loss to Gloucester City. John Deacey will be boosted with the return of defender Jamie Price from suspension, but will check the fitness of Martin Drury and Jordan Deacey (knee).
