Match Preview: Harrogate Town

Bradford (Park Avenue) will be looking to play their first home fixture since the beginning of March, as they host Harrogate Town on Saturday at the Horsfall Stadium. (Kick off: 3.00pm)

The home side will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches. Last weekend, Bradford travelled to face Boston United and defeated the Pilgrims 4-0 at the Jakemans Stadium. Prior to the victory, the Avenue recorded a narrow win against Workington AFC and a hard fought draw at Gainsborough Trinity. During the week, John Deacey was dealt a blow losing captain James Knowles to FC Halifax Town. Also for the fixture, the Avenue manager will be without defender/midfielder Jamie Price due to suspension.

The visitors make the short trip to Bradford without playing a league fixture since March 19th. On that date, Town managed to defeat Bishops Stortford 2-0 at Woodside Park. Before the victory, Simon Weaver’s men won at FC Halifax Town and Corby Town, and drew 2-2 against Bishops Stortford at the CNG Stadium. The only defeat for Town within the past five games was a 3-1 loss to league leaders Chester FC. Meanwhile, the away side saw their midweek Blue Square Bet North fixture at Solihull Moors postponed.
