Match Preview: Boston United (H)

On Non League Day, Bradford (Park Avenue) entertain Boston United in the Vanarama Conference North at the Horsfall Stadium. (Kick-off: 3.00pm)

The hosts will be looking to avoid a second successive defeat, after falling to a 1-0 loss against Gainsborough Trinity. But, the Avenue have enjoyed a good start to the season, including victories against Harrogate Town, Leamington FC and Hyde FC. Last season, the Avenue were unbeaten when the two teams met, winning 3-2 at The Jakemans’ Stadium and holding the Lincolnshire outfit to a 1-1 draw at the Horsfall Stadium.

Dennis Greene’s men currently sit third in the table, picking up 11 points from six games. The Pilgrims have recorded impressive victories against Barrow AFC, Brackley Town and Colwyn Bay. However, the visitors have failed to win in any of their previous three fixtures, losing only once with a narrow defeat against North Ferriby United.
