The club are delighted to confirm that Richard Marshall will be staying at the Horsfall Stadium for the 2014/15 season.
Marshall joined the Avenue in 2011, and has made 140 appearances, scoring 46 goals. Arriving as a striker, the 28 year old has mainly been used in the centre of midfield, and has impressed with his contribution to the team with his assists and goals. At the end of the 2012/13 season, Marshall collected the leading goalscorer trophy, which included memorable strikes against his former club Harrogate Town, Worcester City and Workington AFC.
Bradford (Park Avenue) manager John Deacey admits he’s pleased to secure the services of Marshall:
“It’s great news. Richard has a great attitude for the game, he’s the last in from training and the warm up. If he sees a football he just has to play! He’s not just a nice lad, but he’s a great player too.”
