Bradford (Park Avenue) Tom Greaves was introduced as second half substitute, but, it was a landmark appearance for the striker; as he made his 200th appearance for the club.
Speaking to the official website, Greaves was relieved to reach the milesone:
‘It was nice to get on. People have made a big deal out of it, and I was frustrated last week. I have been here a long time, across two spells, but, fingers crossed, let’s go for 250!’
The striker replaced Alex Davidson, and felt he came close to marking his 200th appearance with a goal:
‘I could have had a chance to cap it off, but, it was not to be. I was pleased for Matty James, but, today, it was class from Tim (Deasy). It was great to get three points.’
After the victory, Greaves remembered his favourite memory whilst playing for Bradford (Park Avenue):
‘It has to be the Playoff Final goal last season, that has to be my favourite memory here.’
