Bradford (Park Avenue) are delighted to announce the signing of Jimmy Eyles from Ossett Town.
The 22 year old joins the club from the Evostik First Division North outfit, including Pontefract Collieries and Nostell MW as his previous clubs. Eyles, who will be reunited with former Ossett Town captain Ryan Qualter at the Horsfall Stadium, can play in a number of different positions, but mainly as a winger/striker.
The new arrival admits it was an opportunity he couldn’t turn down, and hopes to follow in the footsteps of Qualter:
“It’s great moving up to this division. I know Ryan (Qualter) has done well since he joined the club and it’s good to see players moving up to this level given the opportunity to play. Hopefully we can finish as high as we can and I can get some game time and score some goals!”
John Deacey is pleased to give another player the chance to prove themselves in The Skrill North:
“Jimmy has done very for Ossett Town and I feel he can step up to this league. He has an eye for goal, a good attitude and is very ambitious. I hope he enjoys his football at Bradford (Park Avenue).”
Welcome to the Avenue Jimmy!
