Duo Join the Avenue

Bradford (Park Avenue) have strengthened their squad, securing short term loan deals for two players from the Blue Square Bet North.

The Avenue manager John Deacey has brought in Liam Needham from FC Halifax Town and Craig Radcliffe from Harrogate Town.

Needham, 26, is a left sided midfielder who featured against Bradford in the recent draw at the Horsfall Stadium, and has played six times for the Shaymen this season. At the same time, Needham is a versatile player, who is able to fill in at left back, as well as, in a more advanced attacking role. His previous clubs include Sheffield Wednesday, Notts County, Gainsborough Trinity and Guiseley AFC.

Also, Craig Radcliffe joins Bradford (Park Avenue) from local neighbours Harrogate Town. The 26 year old, like Needham, is a left sided footballer and is capable of playing in either a defensive or midfield role. Last season, Radcliffe faced his new teammates, in the Avenue’s 3-1 victory in the West Riding County Cup semi final. However, this season, the new addition has struggled to break into the first team, having only played 45 minutes in the league so far.
