Duckworth: 'We Will Get There'

The Avenue right back Michael Duckworth spoke to Press Officer Lewis Sale, after the 3-1 defeat to Solihull Moors:

The youngster was left frustrated with the loss on Saturday:

‘I think we dominated most of the game. They took their chances, we didn’t. It is frustrating to play well for so long and not come away with a result. If you don’t take your chances, you face the consequences.’

Despite the numerous chances, the Avenue failed to score than one goal, and Duckworth is hoping to return to winning ways:

‘We will go again on Monday. We have a lot of games coming up and it will be hard for us. However, we are doing the right things, but, not getting the results, but, we will get there.

At the same time, the 20 year old is pleased to playing plenty of matches for Bradford, in an unfamiliar position of right back:

‘At the moment, I’m playing 90 minutes every week so I’m happy. It’s better than sitting on the bench!’
