Bradford (Park Avenue) left back Martin Drury was a surprise inclusion in the draw against Solihull Moors at The Autotech Stadium.
The popular defender spoke to the official website on his return in the number three shirt:
“It’s great to be back. I’ve missed my football. I’ve worked hard and it’s been a long process but it’s a first step to get back to full fitness. I feel fit and I’m not tired! It could take me about three or four games to get match fit.”
Despite extending the unbeaten run to ten games, Drury admits his side could still improve:
“I felt we had a lot of the ball in the first half, and the manager said to us before the game they (Solihull Moors) are at their most dangerous when we have the ball and he was right. Maybe we need to be more ruthless up front and more solid at the back, but credit to the lads, it’s a good point.”
