Another defeat for Bradford (Park Avenue) and another game without a goal. The Bradford manager John Deacey spoke to Press Officer Lewis Sale.
The Avenue boss was left frustrated with another loss:
‘I don’t know what to say. We are not taking chances, they have had two shots and scored. To try and change and the game, I tried to mix up the partnerships and combinations.
After failing to score for a fourth game, Deacey admits the lack of goals is proving a problem:
‘I thought the second goal was a good strike, for the first goal we lost it in the midfield area. The goals are killing us, because we are not taking our chances which is the problem.’
Also, the manager was dealt a blow by Alex Davidson, but, reserved praise for Jordan Snodin:
‘Alex’s hamstring is tight, he pulled it in the warm up. Jordan did ok, I was impressed with the boy for his first game.’
With Guiseley AFC the next opponents for Bradford, Deacey is hoping everyone is focused on the job:
‘We have to dig in, be strong and work hard for each other.’
