Following their 1-0 victory against Solihull Moors, the Avenue manager John Deacey spoke to the waiting media.
The Bradford boss was happy with the win:
‘We deserved it and we could have scored more. It was tough to play football out there, but we played some good football at times.’
After seven games without a victory, Deacey was pleased with the team effort:
‘I thought it was Adam Clayton’s best game since his return. Also, Dru (Martin Drury) was excellent despite being a little tired at the end. We switched Wakka (Paul Walker) and Alex Davidson which worked and our centre midfield of Daly and Hotte did well.’
The only concern for Deacey was the failure to add further goals to the scoreboard:
‘I was worried about not getting a second goal. We had plenty of opportunities with Marshall and Jordan, how many one on one chances do you need?’
