Deacey: 'The First Half Was Superb'

After victory against Vauxhall Motors on Tuesday evening, Bradford (Park Avenue) manager John Deacey spoke of his delight at the result:

‘The first half was superb. In the second half, they (Vauxhall Motors) were always going to come back, but, it was a good performance.’

Also, the manager was quick to praise his side, and key individual performances:

‘I thought either Jordan (Deacey) and Nathan (Hotte) were man of the match, both were awesome tonight. Matty James was excellent with a great strike and Liam (Wakefield) did well. It’s a steady start!’

Again, Deacey was forced to make changes to his side, but, remains positive about several players returning for the trip to Harrogate Town on Saturday.

‘I brought (Adam) Clayton off as a precaution, we will have to look at that. I’m hoping to have Rob O’Brien back, I’ve got Michael Duckworth back and possibly Alex Davidson.’
