Deacey: ‘Some of the Football Was Superb’

After the Avenue’s victory against Bradford City on Tuesday night, John Deacey was extremely pleased with his side’s performance:

‘We played very well, some of the football was superb, I don’t think you could tell which was the pro side, they played a few first team players!’

But, the Bradford (Park Avenue) manager confirmed that three players were missing, and commented on the release of a new signing:

‘(Adam) Clayton is on holiday and (Danny) Holland and (Jamie) Jackson had travel problems, but, the rest did well. Simon Baldry has left the club, I released him.’

Finally, Deacey made it clear of his intentions on how he wants his Avenue side to play:

‘The way we play is pleasing, you play the right way and that’s what its got to be.’
