Following the 2-0 defeat to Worcester City, the Avenue’s John Deacey spoke to Press Officer Lewis Sale.
The Bradford manager was a frustrated figure at the full time whistle:
‘There were two things that summarised the game for me. Firstly, the goalkeeper’s mistake in the first half, and Jordan’s (Deacey) sending off. He (Jordan) has let me down, the players and the supporters down, he’s a young boy and has to learn because its happened too many times.’
At the same time, Deacey felt his side could have got something out of the game:
‘The rest of the team did well and we missed, what I call in football, three ‘sitters.’ I don’t usually say this, but, I don’t think they troubled us really in the game.’
