Deacey: 'Never Fail To Amaze Me'

Following the 5-0 victory against Droylsden, Bradford (Park Avenue) manager John Deacey spoke to the official website.

On his birthday, Deacey was pleased with his team:

‘Our attitude was superb because Droylsden have picked up some good results. Overall, there were some great performances. I thought Adam (Baker) did well in the first half and when Jamie Jackson came on, he had a great attitude. Also, I was pleased with both Aiden (Savory) and Ross (Daly) because we are a squad here. We have (Nathan) Hotte who never knows when to give in. At the back, (Jamie) Price was good and since Tim Ryan has joined us, he has been very good, you could go through the whole side!’

After the win, Deacey admits his side still have a chance to reach the playoffs:

‘There were five different scorers and we could’ve had more. Some of our players are at the top of their game like Jordan and they have been tremendous. We are still mathematically in with a shout and up to this stage of the season, they have been excellent and never fail to amaze me.’
