Deacey: I'm So Annoyed

After the defeat to Brackley Town, Bradford (Park Avenue) manager John Deacey was angry at watching his side fall to a second defeat of the season:

‘I’m a very cool man but not today. I’m a honest man and I think we should’ve won it. How many chances did we have? We had chances that you have to convert. That game should not have been lost.’

However, Deacey was frustrated with how the winning goal was conceded:

‘We put them on the plate for people. That is six goals we have conceded from set plays. They didn’t create anything from open play, I can’t remember my goalkeeper making a save. I’m so annoyed, we have to learn quickly and grow up.’

Nevertheless, the Bradford manager pointed out the number of injuries at the club:

‘We are doing well without key players. It’s a different story when we have Nathan Hotte, Adam Clayton, Jamie Jackson, Alex Davidson, Ross Daly and a fully fit Matty James. I don’t think there are many teams who are doing what we are doing.’
