Following his arrival from Ossett Albion, new signing Tom Corner spoke to the Avenue’s Press Officer Lewis Sale.
Corner, 20, admits he cannot wait to play in the Blue Square Bet North:
‘I can’t wait to play for the club. Previously, I have played in the Conference with Grimsby Town, as well as spending six months in Spain, which was a great experience. But, now, I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing in the Conference North.’
Also, the tall striker knows plenty of faces amongst Bradford (Park Avenue):
‘I’m good friends with Michael (Duckworth), and I have known the manager John Deacey for a while now.’
The addition of Tom Corner will add competition for places, but, the 20 year old is pleased to be joining a club that has started the season well:
‘Having a small squad can work well for a club, because you work hard for each other. At the moment, I feel I need to get my sharpness back through training and playing games.’
