Bradford (Park Avenue) have now gone four Vanarama Conference North games without a victory, as Solihull Moors came from behind to take all three points from Horsfall.
In a game that was hit by heavy fog, the Avenue made a great start to the game with Chib Chilaka running through and scoring within two minutes.
However Solihull hit back, scoring three times before the half time whistle. Liam Daly bagged the first and then two goals from Omar Bogle made sure the visitors had a comfortable lead at the break.
John Deacey made seven changes to the team that beat Goole on Tuesday night; with Chilaka coming back in to the starting line-up and within two minutes his name was on the score sheet.
Dan Clayton played a lovely through ball to Nathan Hotte. Skipper Hotte played a clever back heel that was met by Chilaka, who calmly finished past the keeper.
After the Avenue goal, Solihull then started to apply pressure themselves. Their first chance came from a long distance free kick that was well saved by Danby. A second followed soon after, when Ryan Beswick pulled his shot wide from 15 yards.
The Solihull pressure was telling and on the 26-minute mark the visitors were back on level terms. A corner from the right was nodded in at the front post by Daly.
Just seven minutes later and Solihull took the lead. Another corner from the right was this time met by Omar Bogle and the England C international headed home.
The Avenue went close to replying moments after. Hotte was played through, taking it past the on running keeper, he attempted to play in Chilaka but his pass was just cut out.
Solihull extended their lead just before the half time whistle. Dan Clayton tripped Darren Byfield in the box and a penalty was award. Bogle steeped up to get his second of the game.
In the second half the visibility deteriorated greatly for both players and fans alike.
Bradford did manage to put some pressure on the Solihull defence and scored with just 13 minutes remaining. Clayton took a short corner from the right to Joe Colbeck. Colbeck played the ball back to Clayton on the edge of the box, who struck past the keeper to give the Avenue a chance of rescuing a point.
Substitute Danny Frost caused problems for Solihull, first from a long range shot that was well saved and second from a Colbeck cross that he put just wide.
The defeat leaves Bradford in 18th place and they are next in action on Monday night when North Ferriby visit Horsfall.
